ISO 17025 ACCREDITATION

Gooch & Housego Orlando has received ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation from international registration body NVLAP (National Voluntary Laboratory Accreditation Program). Specifically, we are accredited for spectral Irradiance and Total Spectral and Luminous Flux calibrations. This confirms the company’s quality management system meets the requirements of the international standard. Prior to this accomplishment, in 2012 the Orlando facilities QMS was certified to ISO 9001:2008 through LRQA and maintains that certification in addition to the newly acquired 17025 accreditation. The facility has earned a worldwide reputation for high quality instrumentation and unique solutions to the most difficult and complex light measurement challenges.

ISO 9001:2008 ACCREDITATION

Gooch & Housego (Orlando) has received ISO 9001:2008 certification from international registration body Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance Ltd (LRQA).  This confirms the company’s quality management system meets the requirements of the internationally recognized standard.  Prior to this accomplishment, Gooch & Housego (Orlando) earned a worldwide reputation for high quality instrumentation and unique solutions to the most difficult and complex light measurement challenges.  The company was established as an optical radiation instrumentation, standards, and calibration laboratory in 1970.  Forming the nucleus of the company were two former NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology, formerly the National Bureau of Standards) physicists, who had individually made significant contributions to the field of spectroradiometry and electro-optical technology.
